SilkRoad’s On Demand Software Applications are hosted at our state-of-the-art data center, SolidSpace. SolidSpace is committed to offering premier data center infrastructure and managed services to a global customer base. This dedication spans through a strong history in the data center industry, turnkey operations, and a highly experienced technical staff. The SolidSpace data center is located in the Piedmont Triad Research Park in our home state of North Carolina. SolidSpace also has a presence in Chicago, Boston, Germany and Singapore. Each of these locations offers an abundance of invaluable resources available to all of our clients.

Power in our facility is backed up by an onsite power and power conditioning technology. Clean uninterruptible power is critical for the operations of the servers, routers, and networking hardware that power the OpenHire hosted applications. Power in the entire facility is strictly managed to ensure that OpenHire will always have the necessary power to operate its applications even if the primary power source is offline.

The SolidSpace architecture employs very reliable and redundant routers. This architecture combined with bandwidth utilization and monitoring, allows us to scale in anticipation of customer demand. The physical site features HVAC temperature control systems and a wide range of physical security features, including motion detection security cameras and state-of-the-art smoke detection and fire suppression systems as well as redundant clean power, seismically stabilized racks, a climate-controlled environment, redundant connections to the Internet, firewalling and monitoring services.
